Engagement Photoshoot In Los Angeles!

By | Photo | No Comments

In October when I was in Los Angeles Drew from OMGDrift.com organsied a photoshoot for their friends engagement! I have never really gone out of my way to photograph people before, and never thought I’d be doing an engagement shoot in LA.

We headed out to a National park north of LA (I think, I honestly had the most whack sense of direction in LA, I’m usually pretty good with that sort of thing!) The national park was really cool with an amazing back drop.

Overall the shoot was super fun, looking at the photos on camera I was pleased but far from stoked. Once we got back to Drews and I color graded a couple I was pumped with how some came out! Anyway, I’ll let the photos speak for themselves, enjoy!

Here in Hobart the weather is super average at the moment so no working on my 180sx. Good thing about it though I now have some motivation to sit down and go through footage of Kazuhiko Kojima shredding on Touge course at Ebisu Circuit.
I will finish the video off tomorrow some time and get it uploaded to Youtube, stay tuned!!

RPS13 – New Shoes and Kit

By | Photo | No Comments

New year, new shoes and new kit!
Finally I have bought the new wheels I mentioned in my last post. Work XT7’s that are 17×9 +12 in grey. The wheels are second hand but I picked up 6 of them for a good price, some marks on them but nothing I wouldn’t do to new ones anyway.

The fronts fit quite well, once I get my new front guards which will about around +25mm they should fit spot on. The rears will need a bit of work, once I get the correct profile tyre 235/40/17 I can then lower the car more and adjust the camber arms to make it work better.

Lastly, my new kit has arrived, I ordered a copy Type X kit from New South Wales. I already have the rear pods etc so it was just side skirts and front bar with lip and extensions. You can see the side skirt mounted here.
I’m just waiting on the front guards so I can then test fit the front bar then prep it for paint!

My next post should have everything together then one last pull down for painting 😀
