Well, that was epic! And I didn’t even drive…
I have been to a lot of drift events over the past 3 years within Australia and overseas, from grassroots to national championship events and Drift Challenge Australia left me more pumped and excited than most of them!
I usually avoid shooting at local events because it’s the same thing with different weather but this was totally different, DCA bought a whole new experience to Tasmania (Which most drivers haven’t seen before, I’m jealous I was behind the camera and not the wheel) The driving from local drivers was next level, it was the most exciting thing I have seen since standing on the wall at Irwindale, the House of drift!
Hats off to Luke Fink and the team for creating this series and how it was ran, the whole concept of DCA is summed up in one word ‘Gangsta’. More driving and less bullshit, that was defiantly shown on the weekend.
